What makes Abidjan worth a visit?

Abidjan is the former capital of Cote d’Ivoire. It is the largest city in the country, fourth largest French-speaking city in the world and once an old, coastal fishing village. The village that transformed after the completion of Viridi canal in 1951 into a central seaport and is now on the track of progress and economic strength Abidjan has a high level of industrialization and urbanization.

This city stands on several converging peninsulas and islands connected by bridges. There are many interesting places in Abidjan like the University of Abidjan, The national library and the Museum. Some other important sights worth a visit are Cocody Museum of Contemporary Art, Parc du Banco rain forest reserve, St Paul’s Cathedral. Le Plateau is known for skyscrapers.

Abidjan is relatively affordable for tourists then other places in other parts of the world but has got all you may need or want during your holidays. If you are planning for your holidays just take a cheap flight to Abidjan and enjoy yourself within a minimum budget.
