To experience some of the untouched lands you can go to Australia which still has a lot of natural beauty. The region there of Tropical North Queensland has huge historical importance along with the natural significance, and it’s studied and taught by many of the local colleges and universities.

The rainforests of this region have been placed on the World Heritage list as being a natural, living museum, so to speak. A place where you can come and explore the natural beauty, wonder, and amazement of watching creatures thriving in the natural habitat, the Australian rainforests are considered the oldest naturally preserved rainforests potentially dating back one hundred thirty five million years. While the rainforests themselves, remain mostly natural wilderness, there have been boardwalks and other walkways put in place to help limit the effects of tourism on these regions.

These rainforests offer guided tours and many informational brochures for those who are looking to explore the rainforest habitat on their own. There are many accommodations in this region as well, which offer an incredible stay for those coming to this region to take in the natural beauty and splendor. Most accommodations offer guided tours in the day and the evening for guests to travel through the rainforests learning more about the significance of them on the creatures and the world. Many of the rainforests offer unique experiences like tours that lead to white sand beaches, waterfalls and babbling creeks.

The Tropical North Queensland region has something no other area in the world offers so among the tourist destinations to choose from it draws a lot of tourists. It offers an untouched natural habitat unlike anything else people can see anywhere else.
