Located on the northern coast of South America, there is a tropical country officially known as Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. It is a country with exceptionally high biodiversity; it has the Andes Mountains, the Amazon Basin Rain forest and Orinoco River delta with a vast variety of inhabitants out of which some can only be seen in Venezuela and moist broadleaf forests covered most parts of the country providing an ideal place for some of the world’s identical inhabitants.
More than 40% of the over 21,000 plant species in the region are only found in Venezuela, up to 50 % of amphibians are also prevalent along with more than 25% of reptiles are to be found in the habitat. Caracas is the capital of Venezuela.
The biodiversity of this rich country includes amazing Amazon River dolphins and Orinoco Crocodiles, which can reach up to the length of 22 feet. Some of the beautiful birds found are Yellow-Orange Turpial, Ospreys, Kingfishers, and Ibises, a total of about 1,417 bird species are found in Venezuela. Some of the mammals in the region include capybara, the world’s largest rodent, Jaguars, giant anteater.
