Sydney Harbor, A perfect beginning of a holiday In Australia

Sydney is home to some of the greatest landmarks in Australia, the notably Sydney harbor bridge and Sydney opera house. Sydney harbor is commonly referred to as the most beautiful natural harbor in the world. Those who come to see it will understand why. A national park since 1975, Sydney harbor national park has grown steadily since its birth, sheltered beaches within park includes Nielsen park where one can laze on the beach or relax under a shady tree, Wash away beach and Reef beach. Dolphins are frequent visitors to the park and whales drop in too, delighting city residents and visitors.

Located right on the shore of Sydney harbor, Taronga zoo is known worldwide as “The zoo with a view”. Its beautifully manicured grounds offer breathtaking harbor panoramas as well as the largest collection of native and exotic animals in New South Wales. Sydney harbor is also a sight for New Year’s EVE Fireworks and the start of the Sydney to Hobart Yacht race.

Tourists form round the globe flock to Sydney not only to marvel at the great harbor and numberless attractions of the city, but also, Sydney is a gateway to many other major tourist attractions and famous Australian cities.
