Safari Days & Casino Nights – JNB

There are many articles and stuff about touring, shopping or site seeing in South Africa but what about the nights?

Mornings can be well spent at Botanical Gardens, at Afternoon it’s good to be shade of the Museum roof, evenings at the mountains, harbor, shopping or dinning go really well but what about those last few hours of the night…who wants spend those sleeping 12 hours while in such an exciting destination! So here is what you need to know and make your nights golden in South Africa.

Firstly, to spend you need to save. What I mean is, look for cheap flights to Johannesburg because every penny you save on your tickets can bring you a lot more fun while at JNB casinos, clubs or discos.

Night life in all cities of South Africa is great, but Johannesburg and Cape Town being more frequented by the tourists is 24/7. To start with, as most cheap and low cost flights and direct flights to South Africa arrive in Johannesburg the provincial capital of the wealthiest province in South Africa (Gauteng), so start unfolding the rocking night life from Johannesburg streets.

There are plenty of options among Casinos in Johannesburg and nearly all Casinos are full of loads of activities in addition to what you might expect from a Casino. The city’s most local casinos like the ‘Gold Reef’ stay open to business 24 hours. The crowd there comprises people from all walks of life and around the world destinations. Visiting a Casino in such a fabulous country is a whole experience in itself. The local casinos offer blackjack, poker, roulette, and 1,600 slot machines. In some Casinos smoking is permitted.

Other than ‘Gold Reef’, popular casinos in Johannesburg are Barney’s, Saratoga, and Market Gardens. However, for high rollers the ‘Club Egoli Salon Prive’, is just the place to be.

If you are with family, head to the Montecasino Bird Garden, which is part of is a popular family attraction in the northwest area of the city and offers gaming tables for blackjack, poker, and baccarat, as well as 1,700 slot machines.

If you are on a multi-destination holiday and plan to visit Durban or Cape Town after Johannesburg, better divide the money you are going to spent in each city as there will be a lot more coming your way on each day you have in South Africa.
