Philippines Popularity Grows among Chinese Holiday Makers

Apart from climbing up the throne of world’s biggest economy, People’s Republic of China is making it big in the tourism market. Not only, increased International arrivals at Beijing and Guangzhou are a prominent change but also, the country is now becoming a strong exporter of ‘tourists’. Chinese from all four corners of the country are heading to the neighboring lands for holidays, as their living standards get better.

China is one the very few countries that have come to know about recession through ‘media’ and not actually experienced something like that. Though seems hard to believe but China remained least affected in one of the most recent and biggest recession in decades.

In last year as well, Taipei the capital of Taiwan has seen an increase in tourists from China. Further to that, 2011 turns out to be more in favor of Philippines, as around 3,500 Chinese tourists are expected to arrive in Manila this year, according to the Department of Tourism Offices in China and top tour operators in Philippines.

Philippine is most popular for its beaches at Manila as well as many historic attractions throughout the country.
