Santiago Tianguistenco is a city located in the Mexico State. This city is located about thirty kilometers south of the state capital Toluca. Ajusco Mountain Range separates this city from Mexico City.
The name Tianguistenco is derived from an ancient language Nahuatl meaning “At the edge of Tianquis”, Tianquis means an open air market or shopping place. The city has narrow streets with some buildings still in an old architectural style.
The city is home to various ancient buildings like the old church named Santa Maria del Buen Suceso; this church was built in the 18th century, this building is one of the spectacular buildings of old times in the city, the design of this building is very inspiring.
