Flight Disruptions in the UK

According to a very recent report on airport situation around the country, many airlines are facing delays, cancellations and  rescheduling while few airports are temporarily shut down. Extreme weather conditions are causing flight disruption all over in the UK.

London is now affected by the adverse weather conditions and flights to and from London are being delayed or cancelled. Flights to and from Scottish airports and northern England also continue to be disrupted or cancelled.

Airports currently closed are:

  • London City
  • Edinburgh airport

All travelers should call their airline help line or speak with their agent to update on the airport conditions before leaving home. The replacement planes for canceled flights are depend on how the weather will remain for the remaining week ahead.

British Airways are monitoring the situation closely and recommend you check the status of your flight on www.ba.com and allow plenty of time to travel to the airport.
