The occasion is attended by nearly everyone in the area and also this amazing festival manages to attract a wide international fan following. It is the largest event of its kind and a perfect platform for those willing to socialize while on their holiday and get to learn more about the country and its culture.

Other things to enjoy about this festival include good food, wine, exciting competitions, live music and touch rugby. The range of mini festivals, will keep you engage and entertained for most part of the day, while music and party keeps the night full of fun. One such mini festival called the “Diaz Decadence” is popular for the mouth watering South African and International food. South Africa’s unforgettable taste of red and white wine can also be experienced here in the country’s finest productions available in a 2-day open air extravaganza. 

The competitions for “Miss Diaz”, “Mr Hunk” and “Miss Bikini” are a ‘must attend’ they give you the same aura as if attending a Miss Universe competition. Another popular event during the festival is the "Four Cousins" Hot Summer of Touch" Touch Rugby Tournament.

For the love of Music,  a variety of South Africa’s most popular musicians perform at the Strand Hotel’s Pero Dias Theatre nightly, where appearances  of popular soap stars delight their fans.
