Far East Asia Likely To See More Air Traffic In 2011

Although, the world is still on the track of recovery from the worst recession of the century however, since the political unrest in Thailand and North Korean attacks on the South – some Far East destinations are getting a rapid increase in new flight routes and airline whereas other are failing to maintain the same popularity graph.

For instance, Flights to Bangkok have decreased in 2010 in comparison to people willing to book flights to Phuket. The same trend is expected to continue in 2011.

Whereas, flights to Kuala Lumpur are booming both as a holiday destination and a connecting point for those seeking onward connection flights to Australia. A relatively similar situation is with Hong Kong and Singapore where minimum stay time is 3 nights on an average.

Denpasar Bali, in Indonesia, Manila and Cebu in Philippines are kind of similar as last year. A major and notable change is that of flights to Beijing the capital of China, as the country is going through a good time in all ways. It is not only importing tourists but also exporting them and Taiwan is actually planning its strategies keeping in view the vast tourist market of China.

Japan, also has evolved as a business hub and Haneda as well as Tokyo airport have remained in the news throughout 2010 on basis of the ongoing renovations and increase in flight frequencies to Japan.

South Korea fell down on the graph immediately after attack by North on one of its Islands however, in the last few weeks the country has become stable at attracting International arrivals back again.

In Indian Ocean, Maldives and Seychelles continue to rule as the top honeymoon destinations while Mauritius is also a cheap holiday destination of Far East for new couples and honeymooners.
