The Brisbane River is the longest river in Australia. This river flows through Brisbane before dropping into Moreton bay. The river was once a major artery of the city, the riverbanks lined with ships tied up at busy docks. Now a day the majority traffic of Brisbane River is frivolous. The Forceful historic tug-boat travels from the Maritime museum at South bank along the river to the bay. The cruises along the river also enable to experience and see the majestic Humpback whales, dolphins, turtles, Dugongs, Killer Whales, Bull sharks and many other marine animals.

Brisbane river walk is a must do thing in Brisbane, it’s an ideal way to get to know the city. The path to the Brisbane river walk starts from beautiful city botanic gardens and follows the rivet north- past skyscrapers, city hotels and restaurants. It also includes float river walks which connects over 20 km of walking paths, parks and bikeways along the Brisbane River.
