Following the political, break out in January 2011 as a move to overthrow Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak’s regime, the Director Tourism is all set to revive the tourism back in the country. A country that had lived in peace was severely hit by the uprisings leaving it in isolation from all the international travel.
Fighting back the odds, Director of Egypt Tourism Office, India Adel El Masry has said “several countries like Finland, Italy, the Netherlands, Ukraine, Spain, Austria, have lifted their travel ban to Egypt”. Flights to Cairo have resumed and many airline are operating their full schedules. The tourism industry is fighting to gain back on all the losses that it has incurred in the past few months.
