Amazing Benefits Offered In Grand Sale 2011 South Korea

South Korea is in full swing and promoting tourism like never before. The country has recently launched 2011 Grand Sale Campaign by Korea Tourism Organization. The Dubai, UAE office of KTO (Korea Tourism Organization) made the official announcement of the first 2011 campaign ‘Korea Grand Sale 2011′.

It is said to be the biggest national shopping tourism festival in decades and will be celebrated in all major cities of South Korea including but not limited to Seoul, Busan and Jeju. This 50 days long festival will start from January 10 and continue till February 28 in 2011. It is expected that, a tourist will flock to the country in great numbers and it will not only work for the popularity of this amazing beach destinations but also will help the country in recovering from the affects of North Korea’s attack last year on one of South Korea’s islands.

Mr.Seunghyun Hwang, the regional Director of KTO Dubai office highlighted the aim of Grand Sale 2011 by stating:

"Korea Grand Sale 2011 will serve as a platform for impressing foreign tourist with developing Korea tourism"

Some of the major benefits that tourists can have during the nationwide "Korea Grand Sale" include cheap shopping, great food, affordable hotel accommodation, entertaining cultural shows and other tourism resources in Korea. Also, during the month of January and February, as the peak season is over travelers from the west will be able to book cheap flights to Seoul, the amazing capital of Korea.

During the festival:

· South Korea ‘s top retail outlets (Big 20) and more than 13,000 of its branches, shops and stores are going to participate in the festival.

· Various entertaining road events are prepared to make for a rich shopping tourism festival as well.

· Travelers can also obtain a discount coupon and membership card, which will bering additional benefits at the chain stores of the participating companies, Special Tourist Zones, major tourism sites, and road event venues and it is available at Korea Tourism Organization Dubai office.

· The visit Korea Committee will provide visitors who are staying three nights or more at the designated 30 hotels across the country with one night free accommodation, special Food & Beverage offers and etc.

· Also, during the festival the Committee temporarily extends a route of Free Shuttle Bus for foreign visitors from Seoul to the Alpensia Resort and Gangneung city in Gangwon.  Other available routes are from Seoul to Gyeongju, Jeonju, and Busan.  Please check for time and date of Free Shuttle with the concerned department.

Korean Airways offers direct flights to Seoul from London Heathrow Airport in UK.
