Lufthansa German Airlines has won the 2010 National Travel Industry Awards’ Best Off-Line International Carrier Award for the fifth consecutive year. The awards were held at the Westin Hotel in Sydney.
“We are delighted to again receive this prestigious award and particularly pleased that three of the five finalist airlines are part of the Lufthansa Group. It is also rewarding to see the strength of the Star Alliance network, with Scandinavian Airlines shortlisted as one of the finalists. We dearly thank each and every agent for supporting us!” said Lufthansa’s General Manager, Kai Peters.
Adding more cache to their win, Lufthansa was inducted into the National Travel Industry Awards’ Hall of Fame for three consecutive wins in the best off-line airline category.
