Lufthansa German Airlines is the number one European airline in Asia-Pacific, offering the most flights between Europe and Asia-Pacific. A year before the arrival of the Airbus A380 at Frankfurt airport, boarding will take place for the first time there on two levels already. Passengers can board the aircraft conveniently, calmly and without queuing by means of generously proportioned passengers bridges, each of which has four escalators.
Munich belongs to the Top 5 airport worldwide and was voted the best airport in Europe for the fourth consecutive year and was also ranked second world-wide in the “Best Transit Airport” category. It moved up to third place in the “Best Airport Dining” category. The results owe much to Terminal 2, which is used by Lufthansa, Star Alliance and Lufthansa’s partner airlines.
Lufthansa German Airlines introduced five weekly non-stop flights between Singapore and Munich, effective June 2008. These additional flights will expand Lufthansa’s network in the Asia-Pacific region, further linking the region to Lufthansa’s strategic hub in Munich.
Under the new schedule, Lufthansa’s flight LH791 departs Singapore (except Tuesday and Sunday) in the morning, arriving in Munich in the afternoon on the same day. The return flight LH790 leaves Munich (except Monday and Saturday) in the early afternoon, arriving in Singapore in the early morning on the next day.
