US Department Of Transportation Fines Virgin Atlantic

The US Department of Transportation (DOT) has penalized Virgin Atlantic by sacrilegious the laws and aviation rules for $50,000 for misleading price promotion. The authorities said it is the complete right of the passenger to know what he is paying completely for the services.

Authorities also said that we expect all airline carriers domestic and international to treat their travellers honestly otherwise strict actions will be taken place. Virgin Atlantic for a certain period of duration displayed online advertisements which don’t include taxes and fees on top of base fare.
