Turkish Airlines (THY) to fly to 152 cities under summer tariff

Turkish Airlines (THY), Turkey’s national aviation company, will offer flights to a total of 152 cities all around the world as part of its summer travel schedule which starts on March 29, a written statement from the company said Thursday.

Turkish Airlines will continue to extend its flight network during the summer period, flying to 116 cities in foreign countries and 36 destinations in Turkey starting from the end of March, the THY statement said. Turkish Airlines said it would make flights to New Delhi, Mumbai and Chicago every day and will increase the number of flights to New York, Singapore, Seoul, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Lagos, Düsseldorf, Paris, Munich, Baku, Brussels, Geneva, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Vienna, Lyon, Rome, Prague, Tabriz, Sana’a and Lisbon.

According to the statement, the frequency of flights to Cairo, Amman, Barcelona, Madrid and Beirut will also be increased within the said period. THY also plans to conduct flights to Addis Ababa, Sarajevo, Nice, Casablanca, Zagreb, Dublin, Venice, Basel and Helsinki every day during the summer period, the statement added.
