Luanda – The South African Airways (SAA) is considering to increase its flights to Angola, through the current five to six travels a week. this was said Saturday in Luanda by SAA delegate in Angola, Ohis Ehimiaghe. Speaking to Angop, the officials said that his company flies to Angola on from Monday to Saturdays, wishing now to add Sundays, in order to respond to demand.
According to the source, Angola is among his company’s biggest "markets" in the continent, shuttling the whole week between Johannesburg and Luanda, and flying some 1,500 passengers.
Johannesburg/Luanda flights record the highest number of passengers, with many stopping over in South Africa on transit to Angola, mostly tourists, businessmen, Angolans residing abroad and expatriate workers, added Ohis Ehimiaghe, who considered as very good the level of relation between SAA and its Angolan counterpart (TAAG).
