Qantas launched A380 flight from London to Australia

Qantas launched A380 routes for Flights to Australia from United Kingdom. On January 19th, Qantas launches first A380 service for Melbourne from London, with stopover in Singapore. Earlier this month, the A380 made its inaugural flight between London and Sydney, with the model now being made available across more of the airline’s routes.

Two of its 14 London to Melbourne flights will be run on an A380 from March 29th. Alan Joyce, Qantas chief executive officer, commented: "More than 550,000 people have now flown on Qantas A380 services and it remains extremely popular with our customers." Five flights to Sydney per week are also scheduled to leave London on the Airbus model. Qantas currently has six Airbus A380s in its fleet and is awaiting delivery of a further 14 planes. The airline has also introduced the A330 model to flights on its domestic network.
