New mobile service for British Airways Executive Club members

From this week British Airways Executive Club members will be able to log in to their account through their mobile phone and access a whole host of the airline’s services. By simply typing ba.com into their phone’s browser Executive Club Members can log in to their account and immediately see their personal details, their air miles balance, and even access online check-in prior to their flight.

British Airways has always moved quickly to adopt new technologies that will benefit its customers and this week’s launch is a further development of the airline’s mobile services. The first phase of British Airways mobile services – mobile check-in – was launched back in November 2008 and has proven a hit. By February of this year, the facility had clocked up 95,000 users – 9,500 on peak day – and an impressive 4,000 completed check-ins.

British Airways has launched a remote check-in service, allowing travellers ‘on the go’ to check-in for flights wherever they may be, via their mobile handsets.
