Lufthansa To Increase Flight Frequency To Mumbai, India

One of the high ranked International Airlines and Germany’s top rated carriers Lufthansa has recently announced an increase in its flight frequency to Indian city Mumbai. The airline will now be offering its customers with daily connectivity between Munich and Mumbai, seven days a week.

Earlier, Lufthansa Airline has been operating five flights a week on Munich-Mumbai route. Axel Hilgers, Director Lufthansa South Asia said in Lufthansa’s press release today:

"This increase further strengthens our position as Europe’s leading connectivity provider to and from India"

Lufthansa Group also stated that its Indian customers will be able to get more choice of daily flights to Munich and Frankfurt, Germany. The new frequencies were effective from next summer season.

Lufthansa Group including its group affiliate airliner SWISS and Austrian would be operating 77 weekly frequencies from seven Indian destinations to Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich and Vienna. The airline, holding hubs at Munich and Frankfurt Airports also offers outstanding connectivity to worldwide destinations. Flights to Johannesburg, Lagos, Nairobi, Addis Ababa, Accra, Lagos, Cape Town, Zurich, London, Amsterdam and nearly throughout Europe.

India is among the rising holiday travel destinations. A recent wedding of two famous Hollywood stars in Rajasthan India and another Hollywood’s celebrity queen’s acceptance of Hinduism are one of the many reasons that tourists are becoming keen to visit India after the slow down following Mumbai Attacks. Also, Flights to India, accommodation and beach holiday in Goa is considerably cheaper than many other warm beach destinations.
