KLM announces Flights to Miami after six years interval

The French carrier, KLM Royal Dutch airline, has recently announced that it will resume its flights to Miami service from next year onwards. The airline is restarting its flight operation to and from Miami Airport after a gap of six years. At the moment, KLM airline is serving 19 destinations from Amsterdam International Airport however, with the addition of Miami the score of KLM will go to 20. This ‘inaugural’ new route of KLM Royal Dutch Airline flights to Miami will be staring from March 27, 2011 as announced by the airline.

KLM has planned to utilize its MD-11 aircraft which has a capacity of 285 seats and provides all three classes of service including business, economy and premium classes. The restoration of KLM’s Amsterdam-Miami route will add another destination in Air France-KLM’s transatlantic joint venture with Delta and Alitalia Airline. The joint venture is expanding the airline’s access to American market and vice versa for Delta and Alitalia Airlines.

KLM suspended its direct flights to Miami service in September 2004, about six years earlier.
