India’s Jet Airways has launched daily, direct flights to Kuwait from Mumbai. This is the airline’s second daily flight from India to Kuwait, complementing the airline’s existing Kochi-Kuwait service. Jet Airways operates the new flight with state-of-the-art Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Flight 9W 572 departs Mumbai at 19:00 to arrive in Kuwait at 20:30. Flight 9W 571 departs Kuwait at 21:30 and arrives in Mumbai at 04:00, the following day.
Speaking at a ceremony to launch the inaugural service, Mr. Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, CEO, Jet Airways said, “Jet Airways has already established itself as a formidable brand in the intensely competitive India-Gulf sector in a relatively short period of time, on account of the warmth of its service and quality of its in-flight product. We are confident that the new Mumbai-Kuwait service will prove similarly popular with passengers.” In addition to Kuwait, Jet Airways also flies daily from India to Bahrain, Muscat, Doha, Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the Middle East
