Hawaiian Airlines has launched a range of “Take A Mate” air fares from Australia to Hawaii, enabling two people to travel together Honolulu. Priced from $1360 ex Sydney and $1700 ex Melbourne and Brisbane, the deal enables each passenger who buys this fare to take a mate with them. The “Take A Mate” fares, in Economy Class, include taxes, meals, drinks and mainscreen entertainment on Hawaiian’s flights between Sydney and Honolulu.
In addition, Hawaiian offers every passenger a free luggage allowance of two checked items, each weighing up to 32 kilograms. “Take A Mate” fares also are available from 17 other destinations around Australia, and for travel in the shoulder and high travel seasons. “Hawaii has always been a favourite holiday destination for Australians, but this is the most affordable it has been for years,” said Sherilyn Robinson, Hawaiian Airlines Sales and Marketing Manager Australia. “Honolulu is the closest US city to Australia, and with our new “Take A Mate” air fares, the gradual strengthening of the Australian dollar and the many accommodation deals on offer, now is the perfect time to book that long-awaited holiday.”
The “Take A Mate” fares are available for departures until 24 September, and again from 7 October until 16 December. All travel must be booked and paid for by 22 June. Hawaiian Airlines flies nonstop from Sydney to Honolulu every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday evening, with connections from throughout Australia with partner airlines. Hawaiian flights depart Sydney at 9.20pm, crossing the international dateline and arriving at 11.10am the same day – a flight time of approximately 10 hours.
