Finnair to add flights to Tokyo, New York during peak travel period

Finnish flag carrier Finnair will add three flights to Tokyo and New York from Helsinki during the summer, the company announced on Wednesday (18 March). "The new flights will for the first time connect Finnair’s Asian route network with the US, creating fast connections via Helsinki from Asian cities to New York and back," Finnair’s Petteri Kostermaa. Finnair said it will add the flights during the peak travel period June to September.

"The addition of these flights will accommodate the demand from Japanese group travel which is at its highest level to Finland and Scandinavia during the four months," Finnair said.
