Flybe is low-cost regional carrier which inaugurated its first flight on 1st Nov 1979 and now operates over 180 routes to 65 European airports, it carried over 6.7 million passenger last year and one of the largest regional carriers. As Flybe operates flights from all UK airports so Etihad Airways has made interline agreement with Flybe Airline, now onwards both airlines will provide service together in one issued ticket.
Etihad operates flight from Manchester and London Heathrow to Abu Dhabi and onwards connecting destinations, therefore Flybe will give opportunity to Etihad consumers to take flight with Flybe from/to Aberdeen, Belfast, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Exeter, Southampton, Isle of Man, Derry and Inverness airports.
This change will help Etihad to expand its network in United Kingdom and cater passenger with cheap flights from their nearby airports.
