Direct flights to Lagos announced by Continental airlines

Continental Airlines has announced it plans to launch direct Boeing 787 flights to Lagos and Auckland from its Houston hub. Both routes are expected to start in November and from May 2011 airline will operate direct flights to Cairo from Newark Liberty International Airport.

“We are proud to be the first airline in the world to announce specific route plans for the 787 Dreamliner, as it will allow us to meet the business demand for new international destinations. Our participation in Star Alliance and investment in our product continue to bring benefits to our customers and will help ensure success of these new markets.”

said Continental Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Jim Compton.
