Direct Flights between China and Honolulu started

Honolulu has welcomed its very first direct charter flight from China, yesterday with flower lei, hula dancing, and live Hawaiian music filling up the air.

honolulu-airportThe Island of Hawaii has recently increased attracting tourists from the Asian market. Also, the changing trends last year have also indicated that a vast majority of Chinese and Japanese holiday makers now prefer to spend their holidays across the ocean.

According to the Hawaiian Tourism Authority, around 263 passengers travelled on the first direct flight to Hawaii from China. This tour package is designed by CYTS Tour Holding Co. The airline operating these flights is China Eastern Airline that also offers direct flights to Beijing, the country’s capital as well as major cities across China including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Wuhan, Yichang and Hong Kong.
