Despite the protest situation in Bangkok, London-Bangkok flights still operating

Airlines confirmed today that flights to Bangkok from London are still in operation despite the protest situation in Thailand. British Airways and Emirates told media they had not cancelled or reduced services to the city and were operating as normal. However, those who hold a ticket can rebook to the same destination up to 30 June.

Rebooking to an alternative destination are also available with BA, using the value of the ticket towards the purchase of the new one. Passengers partly through their journey can rebook on the next available flight home or remove Bangkok as a stopover.

Emirates will refund any tickets to Bangkok if passengers wish to cancel. “Any Emirates passengers who have booked tickets to Bangkok through tour operators or travel agents are advised to contact them in the first instance,” the airline confirmed.
