Delta Not To Fly Due To Bad Weather

In addition to flight cancellations throughout UK and Europe due to bad weather and Spanish Air control’s strike, there are also some event cancellations also posed by the poor weather in Europe and Caribbean.

Recently a Fashion show, market and flights of Delta airline have been cancelled at hands of bad weather. Cancellation of the Olde Towne Market in St George’s is alarming for those leaving Christmas Shopping at last minute. The Olde Towne Market is expected to be back next week Sunday from 2pm – 6pm. While a much anticipated, the Jakoma Winter Fashion Show has also been cancelled due to unbearable weather. Plus, flights of Delta Airline to and from Atlanta have also been cancelled.

Poor Weather Cancel Delta Airlines Flights

Delta Airline Flight Number 656 from Atlanta to Bermuda took of but considering the weather conditions Delta decided to ground midway and the flight was diverted to Norfolk Virginia instead of coming to Bermuda.

Indian Airline, Jet Blue’s flight from New York was also delayed due to harsh weather conditions. Apart from the few cancellations, other airlines continued operating flights including British Airways flight #2232 from London, American Airlines flight #308 from Miami and American Airlines flight #1378 from New York remained scheduled as normal.

The passengers, booked on the cancelled flights are to be rerouted or refunded in the coming days.
