British Airways Travelers will be able to Travel First Class to Las Vegas

British Airways will be using a Jumbo Boeing 747 on its Flights to Las Vegas form London Heathrow, next summer (2011). The swapping will not only improve the standard of flights and services but also will help the airline to enhance its seating capacity on this immensely popular route. At present, the airline operates with a Boeing 777 on flights to Las Vegas from London Heathrow Airport, UK.

Other than enhancing the quality and seating, the airline has also announced launching first class service on the route to Vegas. The spokesperson for carrier has stated that it plans on placing its Boeing 747 aircraft onto its “popular Las Vegas route” from June 1, 2011, increasing capacity by 18 per cent. There will be a total of 124 extra seats available on each round trip, with each flight featuring 14 First class seats as well.

British Airways head of marketing and sales, Mr. Richard Tams, stated at this occasion: Our direct service from London Heathrow to Las Vegas has been one of our most successful launches in recent years. It is one of the star performing routes on the BA network and such a winner with our customers that we are increasing capacity by 18 per cent from next summer and offering that extra touch of luxury.

British Airways flights to Las Vegas, US are a major connecting means for the large number of entertainment and fun thirsty travelers planning holidays in US’s most dazzling city, Las Vegas. Las Vegas is known for its trendy hotels, bars, casinos and a lavish night life. New Year in Vegas is one of the most attended global celebrations where tourists, visitors and businessmen from worldwide countries participate.

British Airways competitor, Virgin Atlantic also serves Las Vegas from London Gatwick Airport. This year, Virgin has also announced to launch flights between Manchester and Las Vegas in April 2011.
