Bangkok Airways will continue its Bangkok – Phnom Penh flights

Bangkok Airways, which has lost the right to operate flights between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap from 25 October 2009 onwards, has confirmed that the decision made by the Cambodian government, only applies to that particular domestic route and not to any of its international sectors.

The airline’s international routes between Thailand and Cambodia namely Bangkok-Phnom Penh (three daily) and Bangkok Siem Reap (five daily) remain unaffected. Bangkok Airways continues to operate daily non-stop service to Phnom Penh from Bangkok with 138-seater Airbus 319. Flights leave Suvarnabhumi Airport at 07.40, 13.30, and 18.00 hrs; while flights to Siem Reap leave at 08.00, 11.25, 15.15, 17.00, 18.45 hrs.
