BA Strike Update : High Court overturned a ban on industrial action

BA-UNITE-Strike

The last hurdle before the start of fresh 20 days strike by BA’s Cabin crew members lifted after a panel of senior judges, including the Lord Chief Justice, overturned a ban on industrial action. British Airways was granted an injunction on Monday after the High Court ruled that the Unite union had not reported results of its strike ballot correctly to members.

Unite appealed against the previous decision, and today panel ruled 2-1 in favour of overturning the injunction. When court announced the verdict, Unite members outside the court sang "we are the champions".
