Air France-KLM traffic up 9%

LONDON (MarketWatch) — Air France-KLM said Monday that traffic rose 9% in October partly due to a strike that lasted several days in the year-earlier month. Excluding the impact of the strike, traffic rose around 3.6%, the group said. Load factor, a measure of passengers against available seats, improved 0.7 percentage points to 81.3%. The group said the strongest growth in both traffic and load factor were in the Africa and Middle East network and the Caribbean and Indian Ocean network.
