Air France-KLM reported traffic down during December

Air France-KLM has reported that its traffic in December 2009 decreased 4.6% to 16.07 billion revenue pax-kilometers, compared to 16.84 billion revenue pax-kilometers in December 2008. The airline’s capacity decreased 5.5% to 20.16 billion available seat-kilometers, compared to 21.35 billion available seat-kilometers in December 2008. Load factor for the month of December 2009 was 79.7%, compared to 78.9% for the same month of 2008. Air France-KLM has carried a total of 5.52 million passengers in December 2009, a decrease of 5.1%, compared to 5.82 million passengers in December 2008.
